The pocket watch, it never worked properly.

He bought it from London knowing I wanted one, but he couldn’t understand I would have wanted more him not screwing her while he was there.
It was the first time I got to know that “forever” never lasts long.
And vows are only keys people use to sneak into other people’s lives.

The hands actually stopped the very moment my heart was broken.
I should have gotten rid of this but never did: my souvenir from the crime scene.
Even after he was out of my life, I decided to keep this as a reminder not to trust people.

Of course it never worked.
